Wellington Fan Zone

Whether you’re a local or a visitor, the Fan Zone is the place to be if you want to get a slice of the action – off the field!

From Tuesday 27 June to Saturday 1 July, Odlins Plaza will be transformed into the ultimate supporter’s space. Head along throughout the week to enjoy live entertainment, movie nights, games, sponsor activities and giveaways, as well as delicious food and beverage offerings to keep you fuelled.

Not heading to the games? Catch the matches live on the big screen!

Be sure to also check out the DHL Dome while you’re there and get a sneak peek at some of New Zealand’s treasures from the Rugby Trophy Cabinet.

Tuesday 27 June
It’s Game Day!
4pm – 11pm
LIVE SCREENING of the Hurricanes v British and Irish Lions
Music and Entertainment

Sit back and enjoy the game in the comfort of the Fan Zone.  Head down early and soak up the atmosphere, with live performances from local musicians, spectacular light shows, and choice food and brews.

Thursday 29 June
Movie Night at the Fan Zone
4pm – 10pm
Movie 1 – TBC – 6pm start approximately
Movie 2 – TBC – 8pm start approximately

Put your feet up and enjoy a movie on us! We’ll be screening two movies on the big screen in the Fan Zone. Grab some food and drinks, then settle in at the outdoor cinema.

Friday 30 June
Rugby Lounge
4pm – Midnight

The Fan Zone is set to be transformed into Wellington’s very own Rugby Lounge. Bring your mates and enjoy all things rugby. Up for a bit of a challenge? Join us in our World Record Attempt at Coin Rugby.  Prepare for a lot of fun – no prior experience or ability required!

Saturday 1 July
It’s Game Day!
11am – 1am
LIVE SCREENING of New Zealand v British and Irish Lions

Today’s the big day, with the All Blacks facing off against the British and Irish Lions. Opening at 11am, the Fan Zone will be action-packed, with heaps going on for all ages in the lead up to the big game.  A  top notch selection of food and drinks will be available throughout the day to keep you fuelled. At 7.30pm, settle in for kick off and cheer on your team. Be sure to stick around after the game for live music to round off a fantastic night in the capital.
