Star Weave Jam

Join us in a special event organised in collaboration with Te Whare Rokiroki – Maori Women’s Refuge. Part of the One Million Stars to End Violence Project, which aims to weave one million stars by July 2017 to be used in an installation at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Following set instructions, participants will weave stars from ribbon and recycled materials, contributing to the Wellington-wide target of 10,000 stars. There will also be a weaving workshop/talk from a local weaver.
