Manu Aute Kite Day: Puketāpapa

Watch the sky fill with kites of all shapes and sizes in Manurewa, which itself is Māori for “drifting kite”. There are plenty of opportunities for kite flyers of all ages to send their messages to the heavens. Join us for an uplifting day for the whole whānau.

Manu Aute Kite Day celebrates the universal tradition of kite flying across Tāmaki Makaurau with three events in Ōrākei, Puketāpapa (Mt Roskill) and Manurewa.

Supported by Manurewa Local Board.
